Airframe
The airframe is made out of high quality composite material ensuring the lightest and strongest construction for safety, stability and longevity.
The construction allows highly efficient operation with no compromise in safety.
This airframe design has passed the most rigorous of testing procedures and modern aircraft standards in countries across the globe.
Engine
The reliable Lycoming O360-J2A engine is fitted with a smart digital governor that gives a turbine-like behavior and a state-of-the-art electronic ignition system that requires no additional maintenance.
It will start without issue in a wide range of temperatures.
This 180 HP engine is flat-rated at 160 HP for take off and 145 HP for continuous operation.
Luggage
The luggage compartment is just over 7 cubic feet , and can accommodate the luggage of two people, including two airline – cabin suitcases. The compartment’s shelf is accessible in flight, to hold small items like maps, a sweater or a camera. You can also keep your jacket with you, under the seat. The luggage compartment is readily accessible via a watertight door, locked from the cockpit.
There is also a cockpit forward compartment with 0.7 cubic feet of storage space which can accommodate small items, plus the removable passenger side dual-control set.
Main Rotor
Three Bladed and No Life Limit.
The on-condition, high inertia main rotor system is powerful, maneuverable and offers the best in safety and most forgiving auto-rotations.
Fly with confidence in winds and turbulence that would ground most light helicopters. Terms like ‘mast bumping’ are history.
Fenestron
The Cabri G2 comprises a shrouded tail rotor, usually referred to as a Fenestron, that IS proven to provide excellent maneuverability in every flight condition, in every direction of flight up to 35 kts in the hover.
Furthermore, it increases the safety for people on the ground and helps to prevent damage from loose objects from the sky and cabin.
Extensive flight testing of the Cabri G2 and of other helicopters equipped with a Fenestron have shown that such tail rotor are immune to stall and LTE.
Avionics & Engine Pilot Monitoring
The heart of the avionics is the EPM, a dedicated multi-function display monitoring 36 parameters and providing advanced functions such as: smart power indicator, engine & rotor RPM, advanced fuel computer, automatic carburetor heating, and transmission chip detectors.
You can choose between many different avionics configurations, including moving map GPS, dual COM, transponders with ADS-b in and out, etc. At the top of the range, the new all glass Garmin panel featuring the Garmin G500 Txi and Mid-Continent SAM coupled with either the GTN 650 or 750 allows top of the line IFR Training and a similar experience to what many students will eventually fly in their careers.
High-End Interior
Cabin occupants enjoy a roomy, luxurious, leather-clad cockpit, with perfect all-round visibility, outstanding ergonomics and optional air-conditioning.
Rudder pedals can be set instantly to fit your height and ergonomic crash attenuating seats provide comfort and peace of mind.
